Dinner last night was slow-cooked chuck steaks with potato soup and veggies. It was yummy. Although since I was grocery shopping, I started the meat late and so had to put it on high heat instead of low, which of course doesn't get it as tender as cooking on low heat for a longer time. Oh well. It wasn't too bad.
Still trying to figure out what to fix today. Something with ground beef I think. Oh! I have Zatarain's dirty rice mix. That and I got the buttermilk for the whole-wheat soda bread I wanted to try. Oh wait, that will take too long. I'll save that for another day then.
